Frequently Asked Questions

You booked a massage! Yay!
Now what...?

What if I need to cancel or change my appointment?

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance. I understand that life happens, and sometimes we cannot give that much notice, but if the appointment is cancelled after the 24 hour mark, you may have to forfeit part of the payment for the treatment. 12 hours or less notice will be considered a "no show" and the entire amount of the agreed upon treatment must be paid. Thank you for your consideration!

What should I expect from my first appointment?

Once you have booked your first appointment, you will receive an email from me that will include a medical intake form and a copy of the policies of my practice. Please take your time to fill out the intake form, as it gives me an idea of what you are looking for and helps me start forming an idea of how I can best assist you. I will reach out a day or two before your appointment in order to personally confirm your appointment.

When you arrive on the day of your appointment, we will review your intake form and discus what you are looking for and what your goals are. This is also a great time to see if I am the right therapist for you. If not, I will be happy to refer you to a therapist who may be a better fit. Once I have answered any questions you may have, we can begin!

I am currently located in Basler Chiropractic. Please take into consideration that my room is located down a flight of stairs and unfortunately, I do not currently have a way to safely transport clients downstairs. I apologize for this inconvenience.

Do I remove my clothing for my treatment?

This is a great question! It is incredibly important that you feel safe throughout the entire treatment. You are welcome to undress to YOUR comfort level once I have left the room. Any and all clothing you leave on will be seen as a boundary and will be respected as such. When draping during the treatment, only the area that is being worked on will be uncovered and draping will never expose the person indecently. For CranioSacral Therapy, you will stay fully clothed, unless it is done at the end of your massage.
